NOTICE: Bear Sightings in the Community

Sugar Cane Residents, there have been several bear sightings within the community. We would like to remind you to:

• Keep all household garbage in containers
• Report any bear sightings

If you see a bear:

• Do not try and get closer to the bear for a better look or photo
• Make sure the bear has a clear escape route – don’t corner a bear
• Always watch the bear and slowly back away until the bear is out of sight
• Get inside; if you are near a building or vehicle
• Leave the area
