Scheduled Water Shut Off

Please be advised that the Williams Lake First Nations Public Works Department will be filling the reservoir above Coyote Rock Subdivision on Monday August 9th beginning at noon.  The expected shut-off time will be 24 hours and can be used again in the afternoon of August 10th.

Residents may want to fill jugs of drinking water and buckets for extra water prior to the shut off.

As part of required maintenance and environmental health standards, the Public Works Department will then be chlorinating and dechlorinating the waterline from August 11th -13th in which we are issuing a boil water advisory during this time.

This temporary water disruption is required to commission new infrastructure to improve resident water supply, water pressure, and future firefighting flow rates. We apologize for the inconvenience and anticipate this will be a one-time event for this type of infrastructure commissioning

If you have any questions, please contact Williams Lake First Nation at (250) 296-3507 ext. 177.

Respectfully,

Davee Palmantier

Public Works Senior Manager
