The meeting provides Eligible Voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates for Chief and Councillor before voting in the 2026 General Election.

This meeting will provide WLFN Members with an opportunity to hear candidates introduce themselves, explain their priorities, and respond to questions about matters affecting WLFN and the community.
Questions for Candidates:
Members are encouraged to submit questions in advance. WLFN is seeking thoughtful and respectful questions that address issues of broad interest to Members and help candidates explain their experience, priorities, and approach to community governance.

Questions should be suitable to be asked of all candidates for the relevant position. Similar questions may be combined, and the facilitator will select a representative range of questions based on the topics raised and the time available.
The meeting will be chaired by a neutral facilitator. All attendees are expected to participate respectfully. Candidate attendance is voluntary.
