Decisions are normally shared within one (1) week after that meeting. If approved, funding is issued within three (3) weeks of the approval date. Specific Requirements by Grant Type: Member Business Grant

To complete an application for the Member Business Grant, you must email the following to to KYGP@wlfn.ca: (i) A detailed business plan, and (ii) any applicable quotes or estimates. As noted in the policy, a Business Plan is defined as a formal written document that clearly outlines a proposed business, its objectives, and the strategies for achieving them. It provides a full picture of the business concept and demonstrates the applicant’s readiness, viability, and capacity to succeed. A comprehensive business plan typically includes: (1) Executive Summary: Overview of the business, vision, and key highlights. (2) Business Description: Details of the business concept, products/services, and value proposition. (3) Market Analysis: Research on industry trends, target customers, and competitors. (4) Marketing and Sales Strategy: Approach to reaching and retaining customers. (5) Operations Plan: Day-to-day structure, staffing, facilities, and processes. (6) Management & Governance: Information on owners, leadership, and organizational structure. (7) Financial Plan: Budgets, revenue forecasts, expenses, cash flow projections, and funding needs. (8) Risk Assessment: Identification of risks and mitigation strategies. This application will not be considered complete until these supplementary documents are received.
