As per the Terms of Reference, as a member of your Regional Committee (Stsemtul’ecws), you will be vital in the overall governance of LtMHS and our work.

Qualifications for an Authorized Representative

· Be 18 or older and be a registered community member within your applicable region.

· Not a Kukwpi7 (Chief) or Councilor.

· Be driven to help the organization pursue its vision and mission and work collectively.

· Have knowledge of the language, culture, and history of the Secwepemc Nation.

· Have demonstrated life or work experience relevant to the purposes of the Society.

· Be prepared to meet at least 4 times per year plus the AGM.

LtMHS will support with travel expenses, such as mileage, meals, accommodations

When applying you will need to provide:

· How you would bring a passion for advocating and enriching the lives of our Secwépemc communities as a collective.

· Outline your previous experience(s) in governance roles, sitting on committees/boards

· Provide information about specific skills or expertise you have that would make you an ideal candidate.
