2025 WLFN Business Licences Deadline Jan. 31, 2025

WLFN is reminding all business owners to renew their existing licence or receive a new licence for 2025. WLFN is asking that complete licence applications are provided to the WLFN Business Licence Officer by January 31, 2025. 

Under the WLFN Business Licence Law 2024-02, a business licences are required to operate any business within WLFN’s reserves including retail and commercial establishments, businesses located off WLFN’s who provide services or sell goods on WLFN Lands, and all types of home-based businesses (bookkeeping, legal services, artisans etc.). Business licence applications can be picked up at either WLFN administration office (315 Yorston & 2561 Quigli Drive) or can be requested by emailing the WLFN Business Licence Officer.

Businesses owned by WLFN Members do not have to pay any fees to receive a WLFN business licence.  For more information about businesses licences, the WLFN Business Licence Law or if you wish to receive a business licence application, please contact the WLFN Business Licence Officer, Ty Sorensen, at 778-417-0316 or ty.sorensen@wlfn.ca
