LIMITED SOCKEYE OPENING EXTENSION

New Closure: October 1st at 5:59pm

Effective September 3rd, 2021 at 6:00pm Farwell will remain open until October 1st at 5:59pm for a limited Sockeye fishery. This opening is an opportunity for NStQ members to fish for sustenance. Please only take what you need to allow as many fish to return to the spawning grounds as possible.
Only fishing sites at Farwell will be open, the Fraser River remains closed at this time.
NSTC will be monitoring the fishery throughout the duration of the opening.
Only Sockeye and Pink salmon may be kept at this time, all other salmon must be released unharmed.

ONLY TAKE WHAT YOU NEED TO ALLOW THE FISH TO RETURN TO THE SPAWNING GROUNDS
