Williams Lake First Nation Issues Request for Interest for Insurance Services
Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) has issued a Request for Interest (RFI) inviting qualified insurance brokers and insurers to express interest in providing insurance services to the Nation.
The purpose of this RFI is to identify potential insurance providers with the experience, financial capacity, and service capabilities to meet WLFN’s diverse operational needs. Responses received through this process will help inform a future Request for Proposal (RFP) or tender process; however, this RFI is for information-gathering purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to procure services.
WLFN is seeking expressions of interest for one or more lines of coverage, which may include property insurance, commercial general liability, directors and officers (D&O) liability, professional liability/errors and omissions, cyber liability, automobile and fleet insurance, crime, business interruption, equipment, glass, golf course insurance, and other related or complementary products.
Interested respondents are asked to provide a concise overview of their organization, including company background, relevant experience, coverage capabilities, service model, and any value-added services such as risk management, analytics, or advisory supports.
Submissions must be received electronically by February 6, 2026, at 4:30 pm. Responses should be submitted by email in PDF format to Lori Ann BillyBoy, Chief Financial Officer, Williams Lake First Nation.
Selected respondents may be invited to participate in a subsequent formal RFP or negotiation process. WLFN reserves the right to accept or reject any submission, request additional information, or modify or cancel the RFI at any time.
