Quigli Drive O&M Headquarters Project Underway

In November, 2022, Lauren Brothers Construction Ltd. began a multi-faceted renovation project at the former site of Sugar Cane Treadpro, a quick drive down the road from WLFN’s Quigli administration office. In addition to a brand-new roof structure just recently completed, the approx. $900,000 renovation will convert the former tire shop into a renovated public works facility for O&M, including new purpose-built outbuildings, significant interior upgrades, and functional site improvements. This exciting upgrade includes:
Interior Renovations
- Demolition and complete renovation of current “showroom” area
- New bathrooms, lunchroom, meeting space, and three offices
- Laundry and shower access for O&M staff
- New stairs, access to expanded mezzanine and 2nd floor
- Improved insulation and finishings throughout office/meeting areas
Site Improvements
- Site grading, new asphalt parking lot, and expanded gravel areas.
- New steel gates at improved access points from Quigli Drive and Campsite access
Outbuildings
- New, large equipment shed (24 feet deep, 116 feet long) for vehicle, equipment, and materials storage
- New, covered winter sand storage structure (lock-block walls, roof system, complete with heated slab (for road sand)
