St. Joseph’s Mission Investigation Activity Summary for the period of November 13 to November 19, 2021

We would like to thank the public who have responded to the WLFN press release by providing photographs and information relative to the St. Joseph’s Mission. This will greatly assist the SJM team with the ongoing investigation and during interviews with survivors.

The SJM team conducted one interview this past week with a member from Ulgatcho. The SJM team will be conducting two interviews this week with members from Anahim Lake (Ulkatcho) and Bella Coola (Nuxalk Nation).
The two Trauma Training Workshops facilitated by Dr. Patricia Vickers and her team were well attended and we thank them for coming and sharing their knowledge. WLFN staff will be working with our contract clinician to book individual and family sessions over the upcoming weeks.
